Greg Barats, chairman of the relayr board of directors, will lead the company on an interim basis.
The appointment of Barats, who is president and chief executive officer of HSB Group, Inc., part of Munich Re, and global lead of Munich Re’s IoT business, is effective October 1, 2021. He succeeds Josef Brunner, who will leave the company.
Since acquired by HSB Group in October 2018, relayr, under Brunner’s guidance, has successfully expanded its global IoT business, which provides unique business models leveraging technology and financial services.
