Voxxed Days was a series of tech events organised by local community groups and supported by the Voxxed team. Sharing the Devoxx philosophy that content comes first. At these events both internationally renowned and local speakers converge at an even wider range of locations around the world. 2015’s list of Voxxed Days locations included Vienna, Ticino, Istanbul, Algiers, Vilnius and Belgrade, amongst others!
relayr held a workshop on October 1st, 2015 @ 16:15 – 18:30
The workshop showed how to get started developing with the relayr IoT Platform. It covered the onboarding of a sensor kit to individuals’ relayr account, first steps with the sensors without coding, a live intro to the Java Script SDK and intros to individual SDKs as per request. The sensors could transmit their measurings automatically to the relayr cloud via wifi and were then accessible through the SDKs. The following platforms were available: Android, iOS/OSX, C#, Python, NodeJS, Java Script, among others.
The Wunderbar (EOL as of January 2017) consisted of the following sensors: temperature, humidity, accelerometer, gyroscope, noise level, light, color, proximity. It also had an IR transmitter and a grove bridge which was used to connect the Wunderbar to an arduino, if desired.
Voxxed Days organisation is spearheaded by local communities. This means each event retains a unique regional flavour, whilst being part of the overall Voxxed movement. As with Devoxx, a spirit of openness, community, killer content and super-low priced tickets underpin the Voxxed Days philosophy.
