BearingPoint and relayr announce that they are joining forces to accelerate Internet of Things adoption.
• The relayr cloud is now integrated with SAP’s ERP system. This will make it easy to fabricate sensor connected business processes, improving efficiency in fields such as customer service, maintenance as well as allowing new options for business analytics. Integration with further ERP and CRM systems is also planned.
• The two companies will work together to provide IoT acceleration workshops and rapid prototyping services, enabling companies to experience the benefit of digital transformation first hand.

Initially, the goal of the cooperation is to integrate the relayr cloud to business processes primarily managed by SAP systems, allowing sensor data to be shared for beneficial new use cases in areas such as customer service and new business offerings. This also provides smart services such as remote control and monitoring as well as predictive maintenance.
The first interface has already been implemented, taking sensor data that is stored in the relayr cloud and pushes it to the SAP ERP system.
Pairing business systems like SAP Business Suite or CRM systems like Salesforce.com with the relayr cloud enables practical solutions to be developed for enterprise customers, and denotes that businesses can fully integrate IoT solutions into their existing environment.
This is part of relayr’s Innovation Acceleration program for helping businesses to develop IoT solutions quickly, easily and cost effectively.
Using Innovation Acceleration, prototypes that use IoT technology can be developed in a few hours, and complete solutions can be implemented in as little as one business quarter.
relayr and BearingPoint will also collaborate on providing IoT Innovation Acceleration and prototyping workshops for businesses.
At these workshops, companies can learn how they can easily develop IoT solutions that will increase efficiency and even build their first proof-of-concept solutions, with the help of relayr’s technical and cloud expertise and BearingPoint’s decades long experience in process design and IT integration.
